Ron Conway is the Founder and a Managing Partner of SV Angel. He has been an active angel investor since the mid-90s and has received wide recognition for his role in the tech ecosystem. He has been included on Vanity Fair’s 100 most influential people in the Information Age, awarded Best Angel at the TechCrunch Crunchies Awards, and has been named on Forbes Magazine's Midas list of top “deal-makers” since 2011. Prior to founding SV Angel, Ron was with National Semiconductor Corporation in marketing positions (1973-1979), Altos Computer Systems as a co-founder, President, and CEO (1979-1990), taking the company public on Nasdaq in 1982.

Philanthropically, Ron is a member of the Giving Pledge. He is a major donor to UCSF Medical Center, the UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital, and College Track. He is active in preventing gun violence including Sandy Hook Promise, Giffords.org, and March for Our Lives.

Ron is involved in efforts to solve systemic racial and economic inequality for founders of color, especially with Slauson and Co.

During Covid-19, he was involved in major efforts to secure PPE and fundraise for a drug therapy/vaccine at UCSF and organized the Covid-19 Tech Task Force for exposure notifications on mobile devices.

He is the founder of the AI Ad Hoc Workgroup, convening the top AI companies to consolidate policy inputs and advocate for AI Safety (Axios Article).

Ronny Conway is a Managing Partner of SV Angel. Ronny has been actively involved in early-stage investing his entire career. He was one of the first Partners at Andreessen Horowitz, where he was the head of seed and early-stage investing and was involved in such high profile investments as Airbnb, Instagram, Optimizely, Pinterest, Dollar Shave Club and Twitter. Before a16z, Ronny spent six years at Google, and was one of the first employees at Google Ventures. In 2014, Ronny founded A.Capital, an early-stage venture firm, where he invested in companies such as Notion, Hugging Face, Replit, Databricks and Character.ai. Ronny received his bachelor's degree from UCLA.

Topher Conway is a Managing Partner of SV Angel. He joined SV Angel in 2009, coming from a background in business development and sales. At SV Angel, he works particularly closely with OpenAI, Rippling, Hugging Face, Notion, Stripe, Anduril, Mercury, Sierra, TogetherAI, Coinbase, and DoorDash, among many others. Topher has been recognized as one of the top venture capitalists in the world, having been included on the Forbes Midas and Forbes Midas Seed list multiple times. Topher received his bachelor's degree from UCLA.

Ashvin Bachireddy is a Managing Partner of SV Angel, where he leads the firm's Growth Fund. Prior to SV Angel, Ashvin was a co-founder of Geodesic Capital where he led investments in Airbnb, Confluent, Databricks, Figma, Snapchat, and Vercel. Prior to Geodesic Capital, Ashvin was the Head of Growth Stage Investing at Andreessen Horowitz, where he was actively involved in investments in Facebook, Fanatics, Github and Twitter. Prior to Andreessen Horowitz, Ashvin was an investor at Lightspeed Venture Partners, 3i Group and JMI Equity. Ashvin has been recognized multiple times by Forbes Magazine as one of the top 100 venture capitalists in the world by his inclusion in the Midas List. Ashvin received a B.S. in Management Science from the University of California at San Diego.

Mike is a General Partner at SV Angel. He started his career in technology M&A at Qatalyst Partners and was an Associate at SV Angel from 2014 to 2016 before co-founding Malibu, a venture-backed social streaming platform later acquired by OpenAI. Prior to rejoining the SV Angel team, Mike spent four years leading product and developer relations teams at Roblox (NYSE:RBLX), responsible for social platform, creator feedback, and international growth. Originally from San Francisco, Mike grew up in Irvine, CA and holds an undergraduate degree in Management Science & Engineering from Stanford University.

Andrea is a General Partner at SV Angel. She joined from General Catalyst, where she led seed enterprise investing in the SF Bay Area for two years (2023-2025). Prior to her investing career, Andrea led product growth at Amplitude (NYSE: AMPL) from Series D through the direct listing and was an early employee at Lime from seed to Series D. Outside of work, she enjoys ballroom dance, pilates, and art. She holds an undergraduate degree in Economics with a minor in Art History and a masters degree in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University.

Sourav Gupta is a Principal at SV Angel. He has five years of venture capital and growth equity experience across funds like Insight Partners, TCV, and Geodesic Capital. Throughout his career, Sourav has had a strong focus on enterprise, infrastructure, and application software. He holds a B.S. in Economics from the University of Chicago. Sourav grew up in Las Vegas and enjoys playing tennis, chess, and exploring new countries through his travels.

Zachary Miller is the COO of SV Angel. He began his career as a corporate attorney at Latham & Watkins in San Francisco. He then served as the outside-GC for numerous startups including RentJuice (acquired by Zillow) and tenXer (acquired by Twitter). Zach then co-founded Cadence Counsel, a legal staffing company that provided on-demand legal work for law firms, startups and corporate legal departments. In 2014, he became the COO of A.Capital, an early-stage venture firm founded by Ronny Conway. He has a B.A. in Communication Studies (Honors College) from UCLA and a J.D. from the University of Arizona, Rogers College of Law (Summa Cum Laude; Arizona Law Review; Order of the Coif).
